SCO Presents: Tchaikovsky, Smetana, and Sibelius

Another concert featured Tchaikovsky’s passionate “Romeo and Juliet” Overture, Smetana’s “Die Moldau” and Sibelius’s expansive Symphony No. 2, presented with clarity, warmth and a strong sense of narrative throughout.

The programme traced turbulent love, the sweep of landscape and a stirring northern optimism, allowing both soloists and orchestra to shine across richly contrasted textures and soaring climaxes.

Audiences responded enthusiastically, and Limelight awarded the performance 4.5 out of 5, praising our ensemble’s cohesion, dynamic range and emotional commitment. Read the review here
