The second concert featuring Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 alongside the winning work from the SCO Composition Competition, "Como" by Kailesh Reitmans.

This might be personal, but this was our finest symphonic outing to date: a nearly full hall, an engaged audience and performances that perfectly fit the Orchestra’s personality. How should we describe it? Fiery? Passionate?

Tchaikovsky’s sweeping drama met Reitmans’ luminous, contemporary voice with equal conviction, "Como" offering fresh textures and emotional clarity that complemented the evening’s grand arc.

The programming felt inevitable, the playing precise and passionate, and the acoustics of the hall captured every nuance, leaving audience and musicians alike buoyed by an unforgettable night of orchestral music.
